Students from Don Estridge High Tech Middle School and Carver Middle School will have the opportunity to tour Lynn University, the site of the final Presidential Debate.
The campus tour, conducted by Dr. Robert Watson, Professor of American Studies for Lynn University, on Wednesday, October 10,will provide students with an overview of the Debate Exhibit in the Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn Library, which features various campaign paraphernalia. Dr. Watson will also provide a brief presentation on the history of presidential debates for the students.
Students and staff are encouraged to watch the debate on October 22, 2012, so that they can understand the issues facing the country and take part in the democratic process. Teachers are encouraged to utilize the debate curriculum to enhance instructional opportunities for students.
